As the President of Everwise Wealth Management, Waylon has led his team to become one of the largest credit union programs in the nation, with over $1.2 billion of assets under management. He has served in this role for the past 23 years and attributes the team’s success to Everwise's collaboration, dedication, and professionalism across the entire organization.
Waylon has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Everwise, he served as a financial advisor at CUNA Mutual Group in Minnesota from 1996-1999. He got his start in the financial industry on Capitol Hill in 1992, where he served as a legislative assistant working for a member of Congress handling banking, finance, and international trade matters. In addition, Waylon served as an officer in the U.S. Army from 1992-1996.
Waylon earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tampa. In addition to his role at Everwise, he serves as a Government Affairs Board Member for the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and is a member of the St. Pius X Finance Council. He also enjoys serving his community and is very active at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Culver, Indiana. In addition, Waylon is a graduate of the Leadership South Bend-Mishawaka (SBM) program and was named to the South Bend Regional Chamber’s 40 under 40 Class in 2008. He and his wife, Kate, have five children.
