Art serves as the SVP and Regional President of the North Region for IU Health. He began his career at IU Health in 2016 as the Chief Operating and Financial Officer of West Hospital in Avon Indiana. He was promoted to SVP and Regional President for the West Region, serving four hospitals the Greater Lafayette Community in 2021. In November of 2025, he took on an expanded role serving Lafayette, Fort Wayne, Muncie, and all Rural Indiana North of Indianapolis. Prior to joining IU Health, he served as the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance for St. Catherine’s Hospital in East Chicago, and prior to that as Assistant Vice President at Kaufman, Hall & Associates in Illinois.
Art holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from DePaul University, an MBA from Purdue University Hammond, and is a certified public accountant. Art serves on the boards of the Indiana Latino Institute, The Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce, Indiana Professional Management Group, and The United Way of Greater Lafayette. Art is a member of the Indianapolis Business Journal’s 2019 class of Forty Under 40. Art is the 2023 recipient of the La Plaza Outstanding Corporate Leader Award. Art and his family live in West Lafayette.
