Everwise Foundation

No doubt, there are many charities and groups close to your heart. The same goes for us.

We care about the communities we serve, and we've found we make the greatest impact by focusing our giving. The Everwise Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to Lifelong Learning, supporting education in the following ways:

Financial Education

Programs that build sound money management skills, from childhood through adulthood.

Mentoring

Support for programs offering encouragement, coaching, and guidance to help students reach their full potential.

Scholarships

Awarded through accredited colleges, universities, or other scholarship-granting organizations. Students cannot apply directly to the Everwise Foundation.

Educational Programs

Support for high-impact, measurable programs with lasting benefits, from preschool through adult education.

Member Matching Initiatives

For education-focused causes our members care about. Approved nonprofits can have member contributions matched, with specific requirements and timelines for each initiative.

Everwise Foundation makes a big impact so far in 2026.

The Everwise Foundation awarded $80,556 in grants to 16 nonprofits across Indiana, supporting programs that make a real difference in the communities we serve.

Covering Advanced Placement exam fees for students on free and reduced-cost lunch, removing a real financial barrier to academic success.

Bringing hands-on STEM drone education and career exploration to upper elementary and middle school students.

Providing scholarships so students who couldn't otherwise afford music lessons have the opportunity to learn, perform, and thrive.

Supporting the Summer Reading Club to put thousands of books into the hands of local families and build a foundation for home literacy.

Helping students and families navigate the financial and educational decisions involved in pursuing higher education, skilled trades, or career training.

TeenWorks

Offering underserved teens six weeks of employment, life skills training, and college and career exploration.

Contributions

Contributions to the Everwise Community Foundation help support the Foundation's vision of partnering with our communities to help them achieve their financial success. Your tax-deductible contribution can be made at any Everwise branch, or by mailing your donation to:

To Request Funding

The Foundation's Board of Directors meets quarterly to consider funding requests. In general, requests should be submitted by December 1, March 1, June 1 and September 1 to be considered in the quarter.

To request funds from Everwise or the Everwise Foundation, please complete the grant request form below.

Before starting, please gather the following documents:

  • IRS Determination Letter
  • Form 990 (if applicable)
  • Financial Statement and/or
  • Annual Report

Once submitted, your request will be reviewed to see if it meets the Foundation’s criteria.

For requests that do not align with the Foundation’s educational focus, including sponsorship or donation requests, please contact your local Everwise branch or email [email protected].
