Everwise held its Day of Giving on Monday, October 9 where it supported more than 45 organizations including food banks, animal shelters, and hospitals.
Earlier this week, Everwise employees spent the day volunteering in communities across the state of Indiana and into southwestern Michigan during the Everwise Day of Giving. This marked the fourth time Everwise has hosted its corporate-wide day of service since 2018.
Nearly 650 Everwise employees gave back at more than 45 different non-profit locations. In support of this important day, the credit union’s 50+ banking branches, corporate, and auxiliary offices were closed to serve others in a wide variety of community projects, schools, and charitable organizations.
“We're proud to impact the lives of people in the communities we serve,” said Jason M. Osterhage, president and CEO, Everwise. “Our Day of Giving embodies our strong culture of community and allows our employees to come together and help make a difference.”
The annual Day of Giving is an extension of Everwise’s ongoing effort to support the communities it serves. In 2022, Everwise employees volunteered more than 6,400 service hours with causes close to their hearts. Together Everwise and the Everwise Foundation also gave back more than $875,000 to 234 community organizations.
