How do I transfer balances to my Everwise VISA® credit card?

It's easy to transfer the balance from another credit card to your Everwise VISA® credit card:

• Send a secure message within mobile or online banking.
• Use our "Live Chat" during regular business hours, where an agent can help to process your request.
• Call us at (800) 552-4745.
• Visit your local Everwise branch.

Here's the information you'll need to provide for each credit card balance you're transferring:

• Name of the financial institution listed on your credit card statement
• Full account number
• Mailing/Remittance address
• Dollar amount of the transfer

Important information about balance transfers

Transfers are subject to a balance-transfer fee, which is the greater of $10 or 2% of the amount transferred in each transaction.

Balance transfers can't be used as payments on Everwise Credit Union loans or credit card balances.

We'll let you know if we can't process your balance transfer request for any reason.

Transfers can take up to four weeks to complete. In the meantime, you'll still need to make the required monthly payments on your other card(s).

Everwise Credit Union cannot be responsible for charges you may incur on your other credit card account(s) because of a balance transfer.
