Your guide to banking after Shared Branching.

Shared branching is a service that allows Everwise members to visit participating credit unions outside of Everwise to complete certain banking transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments. It also allows members of other participating credit unions to complete transactions at Everwise branches.

Effective December 7, 2026, Everwise Credit Union will exit the shared branching network. After that date:

  • Everwise members will no longer be able to complete shared branching transactions at participating credit unions outside of Everwise.
  • Members of other credit unions will no longer be able to complete shared branching transactions at Everwise branches.

While this change may affect how some members complete certain transactions, you'll continue to have convenient ways to manage your accounts, make deposits, pay loans, access cash, and get support from Everwise through our digital banking tools, ATM network, Member Services team, and Everwise branch locations.

This change only affects transactions completed through the shared branching network. Everwise branches are not closing and will remain open and available to serve members.

The information below will help you identify the solutions that best fit your banking needs.
