Everwise Employees Volunteer at 45 Nonprofits During Day of Giving
On Monday, October 13, more than 600 Everwise Credit Union employees rolled up their sleeves to volunteer in communities across the state of Indiana and southwest Michigan during the annual Everwise Day of Giving.
Employees participated in hands-on service projects at over 45 nonprofit organizations, engaging in activities such as painting, landscaping, sorting donations, and connecting directly with community members.
This marked the sixth corporate-wide day of service for Everwise since 2018. In support of this important day, the credit union’s 50 banking branches, corporate, and auxiliary offices were closed, allowing employees to dedicate a full day to serving others.
“At Everwise, we take pride in making a genuine difference in the lives of people across the communities we serve,” said Jason M. Osterhage, president and CEO of Everwise. “Our Day of Giving is a true reflection of our people-first culture, where our employees unite to create meaningful and lasting impact.”
The Day of Giving is just one part of Everwise’s broader community engagement efforts. In 2024 alone, Everwise employees contributed more than 5,000 volunteer hours to causes they care about. Together Everwise and the Everwise Foundation also donated over $900,000 to support local nonprofit organizations.
