What does the “Delivered by” date mean when scheduling a payment in Bill Pay?

When scheduling a payment through Bill Pay, the Delivered by date is the date we estimate that the payment will be received, either electronically or physically, by the vendor.

PLEASE NOTE: Although your payment may be received on this date, the processing time can vary for each payee and could take several business days to post. Also, checks that are sent through the United States Post Office may at times experience delays. Please allow adequate time (several business days following the Delivered by date) for your payment to be posted.
